The cost of running a car has recently hit an all time high! With inflating petrol and insurance costs, along with the rise in maintenance bills; drivers are having to delve even deeper in to their pockets to remain on the road.
Even the cheapest of new cars are expensive to run. The AA’s guide to running costs 2011/2012 has shown this. A new petrol car costing up to £12,000 has a cost of £2,358 a year before even driving anywhere. If you can afford to drive, doing 10,000 miles a year will cost £4,553. Diesel cars of similar value are no saviours of the bank account either. They have a standing cost of £2,264, and if you drive 10,000 miles that will rise to £4,105.
This is where Pro-Motor steps in. With no affect on your daily routine, you could use your car to earn you a little extra cash – which, I think you’ll agree, would be very handy indeed.
